Description
This original drawing was created by Scripps Institution of Oceanography marine biologist and artist Sam Hinton, and appeared in a San Diego, California weekly newspaper column titled "The Ocean World." The column featured Hinton's illustrations of sea animals, fish, plants, and birds and was intended to spark interest in marine biology and educate the public.
