Description
The photograph of Zhang Mengqi was taken at a documentary film festival in NYC after the screening of one of her films. She has made from 2011 to 2019 eleven films about life in her village as a part of Wu Wenguang's Caochandi Workstation Folk Memory Project. Her films have been screened in the US, Europe and at the prestigious Yamagata International Film Festival in Japan.
