3 photographs, 2 of an older African American man standing first in his yard, with his arms crossed, with several chickens milling around the yard, and then outside [his] fence with a small building behind him. The third photo is an elevated view of a man standing at the corner of [his] fenced off plot. This appears to be a different man than in the first two photographs.
Handwritten captions on verso of photographs read: [ph. 07-3962] "This picture of Walters old colored friend in Los Angeles Cal" -- [ph. 07-3963] "Another picture of the colored mans place" -- [ph. 07-3964] "Colored man home place".
