A las once y media del dia 19 de Julio de este año, los panaderos se reunieron en número de cinco mil y recorrieron la [sic] calles en órden , protestando del poco sueldo que disfrutan y de la mala manera y casi despotismo con que los tratan sus patrones. La huelga ha dejado sin pan á los habitantes de la Ciudad y las tortilleras le han subido el precio á su mercancía, por lo que no hay que comer.
