Francisco González Vicente nació en 1936 en La Peraleja, Cuenca. Francisco recuerda su infancia. Recuenta que visitó a su padre y a otros familiares, incluyendo a Angustias Martínez Vicente, en varias cárceles de Cuenca y Madrid. Francisco relata que se involucró en actividades políticas clandestinas organizadas por el Partido Comunista de España en los años 1950. Cuenta que viajó a Praga para asistir al congreso del Partido Comunista Internacional en 1959. Francisco explica que al regresar a Madrid, fue detenido por distribuir propaganda, fue llevado a la Dirección General de Seguridad (DGS), y fue trasladado a la cárcel de Carabanchel. Nota que pocos días después, lo regresaron a la DGS por su participación en la reunión en Praga. Francisco habla sobre su encarcelamiento de tres años en las prisiones de Carabanchel, Burgos, y Valladolid. Francisco González Vicente was born in 1936 in La Peraleja , Cuenca. Francisco recalls his childhood. He recounts visiting his father and other family members, including Angustias Martínez Vicente, in various prisons in Cuenca and Madrid. Francisco relates becoming involved in underground anti-Francoist political activities organized by the Spanish Communist Party in the 1950s. He tells of traveling to the International Communist Party meeting in Prague in 1959. Francisco explains that upon returning to Madrid, he was detained for distributing propaganda, was taken to the Dirección General de Seguridad (General Security Directorate, DGS), and was placed in the Carabanchel Prison. He notes that a few days later, he was returned to the DGS because of his participation in the Prague meeting.
