Description
Fluorescence microscopy time series of Drosophila S2 cell stably expressing mCherry-alpha-tubulin and spreading on a ConA-coated substrate in the presence of cyto D. Long processes containing microtubule bundles are formed. Microtubule looping and entry into the bundles appears to contribute to the growth of the processes. This image stack is part of a grouped set that includes a corresponding time lapse movie.
