Description
NO campaign: Chile depends on private industries for its economic growth and progress. Alejandro Foxley discusses how to bring Chile to the 21st Century by reducing inequality and stimulating the talent and creativity of businessmen and technical workers to promote economic growth. Younger generations will contribute to building a future for Chile. September is the month of three acts of terrorism against Chilean political leaders: Carlos Prats Gonzalez, Bernardo Leighton, and Orlando Letelier. Pinochet obstructed the investigation of these assassinations. Sofia Prats wants Chileans to know the truth about the obstruction caused by the Pinochet regime in the investigation of assassinations. Supporters of NO at soccer match. Patricio Bañados reminds Chileans that votes are private and confidential. YES campaign: Five year old child describes the moment his father died because of violence. YES will give Chileans security. Ginette Acevedo, a singer, says she is most proud of representing Chilean women. She asks other women to think about what would happen if the Marxist NO advocates win. New roads and highways support agricultural development. Bruno Siebert describes infrastructure projects for development such as roads and highways. Mockery of Chinese pork canned food. A woman describes the poverty and misery she suffered before the Pinochet regime. YES anchor states this is the moment for Chileans to speak up on behalf of YES.
