Description
Mang Ke is a well know poet in China. Like Bei Dao and Yan Li, he was active in underground cultural circles in China in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. He was a founding editor of the literary journal TODAY (Jintian) in 1978, participated in the 1979 demonstration for artistic freedom and continues to write poetry and edit poetry journals.
