David Avalos explaining the idea behind his art piece and how it will come together. Using a slide image taken during the 1979 San Ysidro, CA National Protest March against the Carter Curtain/border fence. Avalos' three dimensional, interactive piece titled Loteria Chicana is both political and playful. Chicano poet Eligiso talking about his poetry, Michael Schnorr speaking with a Hispanic artist about his life, and Barbar Carrasco explaining her sketch "LA History of Mexican Perspective" which highlights important people and events in Mexican Culture of Los Angeles.
