Interview participants:Subject 4
At the time of the interview, José Pio Tzuk was 86 years old. His wife, Tomasa Chable Uc, had died a year and a half earlier. He spoke of the era in which Schoolteacher Bartolomé Cervera Alcocer came to Kinchil to support the creation of an ejido and oust Governor Bartolomé García. He also recounted visits from Lázaro Cárdenas and Federal Troops/Police. He spoke of a group of women led by Felipa Poot. He described various assassination attempts and realized murders, including that of Felipa Poot, who was shot from underneath a table.
