NO campaign: Patricio Bañados reiterates the importance of being able to express different political opinions. A man expresses his discontent with wages, taxes, and working and living conditions for the working class. Depiction of the sparse lives of "Erradicados" (poor and homeless Chileans relocated outside of cities where they were told they would live in government housing. Instead, they found themselves living isolated, temporary communities without electricity or running water. Sergio Wilson (lawyer) discusses the fear of Chileans losing their homes. He advocates for the organization of assemblies to permit true democratic participation. Patricio Bañados talks about free elections. Anita Gonzalez advocates for addressing political bribes as a way to end the abuse of power and promote democracy. Professors from Valparaiso say NO to dictatorship and suffering. They want a true democracy to have education and opportunities for children. Patricio Bañados explains electoral confidentiality. YES campaign: Images of violence and destruction brought by the NO campaign. Fear of socialism and communism. Claudio Arrau (pianist) supports Pinochet. Representative of Claudio Arrau reads a letter saying that Arrau's words were misrepresented and misused for political gain. Other Chilean artists suffered similar incidents. Revelation of False NO Testimony of copper miner, Sergio Shipley, claiming that he is poor and oppressed and a victim of labor injustice when he actually receives income from multiple sources as well as government housing and assistance. YES spokesman discusses how the incident with Claudio Arrau also affects Chileans because the opposition has lied. Santiago people talk about agriculture and farming, yet they do not live that reality. The people in rural areas do. "I Like My Country" segment highlights progress throughout Chile while admitting flaws. Footage of YES supporters around Chile. Chile's obstacles include: communism, disorder, inflation, misery, and underdevelopment. Testimony of the widow of a man who was killed by domestic terrorism and violence by the opposition. YES urges voters to support Pinochet to end these types of incidents in Chile.
