Description
Jian Yi is an award winning Chinese independent filmmaker, visual artist who partnered with Wu Wenguang to launch the China Village Documentary Project and later initiated a pilot independent film project in his village. He was a visiting fellow at Yale University and has been in the forefront for promoting a sustainable food system in China and recently the U.S. The photograph of Jian Yi and friend was taken at reception in Brooklyn for Jian Yi's U.S. sustainable food project.
