The photograph Zheng Lianjie (L) and Tehching (Sam) Hsieh (R) was taken at Zheng Lianjie’s exhibition in NYC during the Fall of 2018. Zheng Lianjie is an important Chinese performance artist and abstract ink painter. Sam Hsieh is an internationally acclaimed performance artist from Taiwan who has been active in NYC art scene for decades. Scholarly books have been written about him.
