Real photo postcard composite image of 18 mug shots of convicted murderers executed by hanging in Arizona from 1920 to 1930. Two African American men depicted in the center of the overall image are William B. Ward (#6367, executed 1924) and Sam Flowers (#6193, executed 1925). Also shown are four Chinese men executed in 1928 (B.W.L. Sam, Shew Chin, Jew Har, Gee King Long); and Eva Dugan, executed in 1930. Other people shown: Simplicio Torrez (#5400, executed 1920); Pedro Dominguez (#5597, executed 1921); Nichan Martin (#5565, executed 1921); Ricardo Lauterio (#5693, executed 1922); Tomas Roman (#5699, executed 1922); Theodore West (#5826, executed 1922); Paul V. Hadley (#5979, executed 1923); Manuel Martinez (#5981, executed 1923); William Lawrence (#6621, executed 1926); Charles J. Blackburn (#6824, executed 1927); and Refugio Macias (executed 1930).
