Description
Collection of three documents relating to "the Lemon Grove incident," a school desegregation case involving Mexican- American children at Lemon Grove, California. Includes a 2 p. manuscript response of the Mexican-American community in Lemon Grove, Calif., to the local school board's attempt to create a segregated Mexican school in the district. The remaining two documents are typed letters from Enrique Ferreira, Mexican Consul at San Diego, relating to the case. Accompanied by English translations
