Description
Haus Simen. A building of concrete or 'Blok Haus', concrete block construction. A few houses of more permanent materials, concrete and galvanized iron, have recently been introduced to Mewun villages. Many of these concrete houses are owned by former residents who have well paid jobs in the cities and use their extra cash to fund construction of second houses back in their original village.
