Teatro Vivo is a traveling theater troupe made up of three Guatemalan exiles and a Frenchman. Their performances are meant to inform the audience about the struggles facing Guatemalans. A World of Burros is a five-act play focusing on the life of a struggling family of burros that move from the poor countryside to a new kind of poverty in the city. Two out of the four original troupe members are Carmen Samayoa and Pierre Le Pichon.
