Description
Village houses usually made of thatch roofs and split bamboo walls, are woven into various patterns. Many were raised off the ground to protect inhabitants from wet ground after heavy rains. Here the roof serves as a great place to dry laundry. UC San Diego Library, UC San Diego, La Jolla, CA 92093-0175 (https://library.ucsd.edu/dc/contact)
