Display of kastom items, including 160 shell money valuables, la'oniasi incised clamshell bird pendant, a girigwei'a clamshell pedant--the middle one, and girimalaile clamshell pendants, with large kome coneshell rings, subi--diamond, morimori--cricketbat shape, and afui clubs--with phlanges on side, gano bows, 'umaaru bandolier ornaments with human teeth, and 'ue cane men's belts, one fou'atoleeleo pearl inlaid baton. The 'umaaru are 'Are'Are and southern Kwaio ornaments only. Such displays of wealth have been a standard part of some kinds of kastom events since the 1940s and probably earlier in 'Are'Are, especially for foreign visitors.
