Description
Margaret and Bill were surprised and pleased when Martin Matai and Robson Toa of Waileni offered to raise Sean at age 24 to the first rank in the 'hungwe' or rank association, as Bill's adoptive father, Mathias Tariundu sponsored Bill in 1978. Sean and Bill both took the rank of 'moli' or wild orange, a rank more usually taken by children between 5 and 10 years of age.
