Description
Early 19th-century manuscript containing approximately ninety recipes likely compiled by two different people. Various names appear in the manuscript providing clues to its ownership: Ana Mora, Ursulita and Doña Gertrudis. A formula for paint for use on stained glass windows suggests the notebook may have come from a convent. A sampling of the recipes: sopa de fideos, rabioles, puchera, relleno de pavo, lengua de baca, torta de almendras, llemas de Casa Mata, buñuelitos que hace Pepita.
