Description
A notice posted on the road leading to the village where the Na Griamel flag-raising was to take place. Anglicans objected strongly to Church of Christ followers raising the Na Griamel flag in the highest village in the district. They threatened to barricade the road where the flag-raising was to take place. Hence, the notice containing a plea for peace. It reads: "Nagrimel Strict Notice Please! No Iron, Knife, Axe, Gun or Maskets to be use for 24 hrs :- 6:30 am to 6.30 pm 28 July 1970 Sign: Chiefs Committee Members."
