Description
This photograph is a favorite of mine. The two women in the photograph are Chinese university students who were responsible for me at the reception for First Chinese Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. I was the only foreigner there and felt honored to be invited. What I like about this photograph is it represents the intellectual power and independent thinking of many young Chinese women during that period.
