Morse to Thomas Whaley, San Diego, August 3, 1865; Thomas Whaley to Frank Whaley, San Diego, August 16, 1868; E.M. Miles to Nan, San Francisco, August 24, 1869
Five holograph letters relating to the Whaley family, pioneers of early San Diego. Correspondents include Thomas Whaley, Thomas' mother Rachel Whaley, Thomas' business partner E.W. Morse, Thomas' son Frank Whaley, E.M. Miles, and "Nan" (Mrs. A.E. Whaley?)
