Description
Chief Teleka descends from a line of people called "Balungwana", who were related to the Swahili traders who dealt in slaves and ivory and traveled from the east coast of Africa, Zanzibar, to the west coast, Angola, in the 19th Century. While the population at Sumbu generally identifies as Tabwa, ethnically, there is also a long term mix of other groups who lived and traded in this area. 6843 - from a black slide box (Part 1)
