As a complimentary effort to the EarthCube Sustainability Panel Report the CDF Sustainability Task Force was constituted to explore options and possible pathways for sustaining the CDF once EarthCube support ceases. The charge to the Task Force was developed by the CDF Executive Committee and is included in Appendix A. The primary deliverable of the Task Force is this report, with the outcomes presented as recommendations to the CDF Executive Committee for elements to include in a proposal to coordinate a sustainable collaborative network of data facilities. This report was developed through the deliberations of the Task Force and in consultation with the CDF Executive Committee and a few other experts.
