The first song or text is titled Los cocineros, and is an extract from a musical farce first published in Spain, by Enrique García Álvarez and Antonio Paso (Los cocineros : zarzuela cómica en un acto y tres cuadros. Madrid, 1897). It is illustrated with a Posada metal engraving showing female cooks and pots and pans.
