Description
We recognize all students' individual struggles and show solidarity in the face of their differences. The artwork reflects recent events as they affect the campus (the election, chalkings). Multiple students of different colors and individual struggles stand on library walk reaching out to each other in solidarity. A closed door to the library reflects institutional barriers that may hinder students' education. UC San Diego Library, UC San Diego, La Jolla, CA 92093-0175 (https://library.ucsd.edu/dc/contact) This student work was done in the context of the VIS 105A: Drawing course taught by Katie Herzog in the Fall of 2016.
