Description
This is a photograph of many different colored roses, all bunched together. The whole garden of roses represent the school, the different colors represent the different races ad cultures we all come from, and each rose represents a person. And yet all the roses are the exact same and different from the rose next to it, just like us students at UCSD UC San Diego Library, UC San Diego, La Jolla, CA 92093-0175 (https://library.ucsd.edu/dc/contact) For the Culture, Art, and Technology (CAT) 1: Migration Narratives in the Sixth College writing program taught by Amanda Solomon in the Fall of 2016, students were asked to think about how they view the current campus climate and respond to the fourth chapter of Angela Kong's dissertation, "Re-examining Diversity Policy at University of California, San Diego: The Racial Politics of Asian Americans" Thesis (Ph. D.)--University of California, San Diego, 2014.
