Description
Yu Hua (Center) is one of China’s foremost writers. His novels, short stories and essays have been translated into many languages. He has won numerous awards, and there have been many film and television adaptations of his work. Yue Jie (L) is the Chair of the Photography Department at Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. Xiaojian, my wife, is on the right. The photograph was taken during an interview with Yu Hua in a hotel coffee shop.
