Description
Dr. Myriam Miedzian is a professor of philosophy and author of numerous books, articles, blogs, and op-eds on social, cultural, and political issues. In 2009, with her daughter she published a book He Walked through Walls about her father, born in Poland in 1901, survived three 20th century European wars including World War II and the Holocaust. During this event, Dr. Miedzian shares several stories about her father and about the flight of her parents from Nazi occupied Belgium in 1940 and invites the audience to discuss ethic aspects of adaptation and survival methods used during the Holocaust.
