Description
Transmission EM of cotyledons of the double knockout oep16.1/16.4 of Arabidopsis thaliana grown in the dark. The characteristic quasi-crystalline prolamellar bodies seen in dark grown plastids appear very similar to the wildtype. Other images in this group show the development of typical chloroplasts with thylakoid membranes, upon exposure to light.
