Description
Charles Atwood Kofoid was a faculty member at UC Berkeley, as well as a central figure in establishing the Marine Biological Station of San Diego (later becoming Scripps Institution of Oceanography). Kofoid is best known for his work on dinoflagellates and tintinnids.
