View of buildings located at the intersection of 269 N.W. which were originally part of Camp Matthews' marine base; they were later turned over to UCSD. Camp Matthews was a Marine garrison that was located just next to the fledgling UCSD campus. In August 1964 after 46 years of Marine training the San Diego Marine Base garrison came to an end. November 1965
