Description
Humanities and Social Sciences Film, Audio, Video and Digital Art Bright red sunsets in evening with twinkling lights in distance; there are long shots of these sunset images as well as pans across the desert landscape during the evening hour. Too, Niland Tomato Festival is chronicled with kids singing “This Land Is Your Land,” “Three Cheers for the Red, White & Blue,” and “Que Sera, Sera.” Lots of cutaway shots of audience while watching this spectacle. Technically, the camera focus is soft at times during the Tomato Festival sequence and audio is somewhat muddled because of ambient sound in auditorium.
