In 1995, a talented young ethnomusicologist and musician named Andy Sheppard accompanied the Rodmans to Ambae. He brought with him some sophisticated electronic equipment - an audio recording and playback medium called DAT (Digital Audio Tape). Here, he records the songs of some young village children in Waileni.
