Description
Sculpture and Installations Spring Hurlbut's work for inSITE97, "Columna serpiente, autosacrificio," was installed in the staircases of the Casa de la Cultura in Tijuana. Hurlbut designed cast-plaster Greek columns covered in coiling serpents, and column bases holding pairs of skeletal feet.
