Description
Re-photographed image taken in 1981 (Original photograph date unknown). This photo might have been taken in the early 20th century when William Boyd and his wife, the first Presbyterian missionaries were living in South West Bay. The Boyds regularly had several house girls. This person's skirt is made of 'burao', strips from a type of hibiscus bush-- a thrifty way of clothing these young women.
