Scope/Content: Manuscript. Some repairs to pages.
Scope/Content: Manuscript volume containing three different poems: one entitled "Upon Mr Abram Jenings his book given to Mr John Heath and dededicated [sic] to my Lady Roll being a translation of Dr Bates, " a poem about the journey of Thomas Povy, treasurer to the Duke of York, into Devon and Cornwall, and the Earl of Rochester's "Satyr against reason and mankind." All are written relatively neat 17th century hands. The poem by Povy is dated 1673.
Condition: Bound in later red morocco with gold stamping and marbled endpapers.
