Scope/Content: Manuscript volume compiled by William Dugdale during his heraldic visitations of Nottinghamshire in 1662-1664 and including the arms for 79 Nottingham families. The text consists of finely drawn arms and short notes on the families. The text is followed by an alphabetical index to family names.
Condition: Bound in sprinkled calf with gold stamping; armorial binding of the Duke of Newcastle on cover. Front cover completely detached.
