Scope/Content: Manuscript.
Scope/Content: Manuscript copy of John Case's astrological work, The centre or the circle of the life of man. The text is very similar to that of Case's Angelical guide, which was published in 1697, and is perhaps an early version of that text. This volume contains multiple illustrations and astrological charts. At least one illustration (presumably by Case) is partially covered by a tipped in version of the same illustration drawn by a more skilled artist.
Condition: Bound in early mottled calf; covers detached with major damage to spine and covers.
