Scope/Content: Manuscript within printed book.
Scope/Content: Manuscript account book written on the blank leaves of Richard Saunders' Apollo anglicanus, an almanac printed in 1709. The compiler of the account book is uncertain, but at least 2 contemporary hands were recording information. Transactions recorded include money owed to the compiler, as well as rents received and other goods purchased. Based on place names included, the compiler appears to have lived in Yorkshire, near the towns of Dewsbury, Heckmondwike and Batley.
Condition: Bound in old calf; modern rebacking and repairs done in 1946.
