Scope/Content: Manuscript volume of English anthems by Henry Purcell, William Croft and Jeremiah Clarke, dating from about 1730. The musical portion of the text is preceded by a table of contents in the hand of Sir John Dolben. The identity of the copyist is unknown.
Condition: Bound in contemporary mottled calf with red morocco cover label; covers detached; housed in modern gray cloth case.
