Description
Scope/Content: Manuscripts. Loose papers laid in to all volumes; green vellum volume has warped covers.
Scope/Content: Manuscript account books of bills due and payments made by Charles Bennet, 2nd Earl of Tankerville, spanning 1727-1732. The books are in multiple hands and are, largely, very neatly kept ledgers of the accounts at the Earl's multiple residences and landholdings.
Condition: Bound in original vellum; three volumes are bound in natural vellum and a fourth is bound in green vellum.
