Scope/Content: Manuscript.
Scope/Content: Manuscript commonplace book formerly owned by members of the Wyrley family. Though the ownership inscription in the front of the volume bears the name of Michael Keepis, it seems probable that the volume had its origins with Francis Wyrley, whose unpublished poems appear in large number throughout the text. Other poets represented include Henry Blount, Thomas Carew, John Donne, John Ford, and William Strode. In the latter half of the volume are manuscript inventories of belongings of the Wyrley family, dated 1675-1677.
