Scope/Content: Manuscript annotations in printed book.
Scope/Content: Copious manuscript annotations by an unknown writer in the first edition of Richard Sault's English translation of Nicolas Malebranche's A treatise of nature and grace. Notes are written in a contemporary late 17th century hand throughout the text; in a couple of places, an extra half page is tipped in to accomodate more lengthy notes.
Condition: Bound in old calf with panelled spine.
