Scope/Content: Manuscript. With a preface written to Francis Bennet of Merefeild, with an acknowledgement to George Fairfax (fl. 1677-1701). Engraved frontispiece portrait of Partridge. All pages ruled.
Scope/Content: Manuscript volume of a treatise on trigonometry by astrologer and almanac writer John Partridge. It appears to a volume he presented to his friend Francis Bennet and it explains the fundamentals of trigonometry, offering examples related to astrology at the end.
Condition: Bound in speckled calf, gold tooled; panelled spine with handwritten label faintly reading "Trigonometry."
