Description
Scope/Content: Manuscript annotations in printed book. In English and Latin.
Scope/Content: Manuscript annotations in a 1684 copy of Praxis Francisci Clarke by an unknown reader or readers. This edition has been interleaved and bears copious annotations and notes on the interleaves, other blank pages and in the margins of the text itself. It is possible that there are multiple 17th and 18th century hands, as there are variations in the style of annotation, though all hands are roughly contemporary. There is a manuscript index in the back of each volume. The composition date of 1722 is based on the latest date noted in a list of citations in volume 1.
