Scope/Content: Manuscript volume containing the register of loans made from the library at Royton Hall, Lancashire, mostly written in the hand of Sir Joseph Radcliffe. The volume also contains several pages of recipes for cloth dyes, probably in the hand of Radcliffe's wife, Katherine Percival, and 27 pages of material about the enclosure of Oldham Common.
Condition: Bound in original calf, marked, rear joint cracking.
