Scope/Content: Manuscript annotations in printed book.
Scope/Content: Manuscript annotations, likely by Henry Oxinden (1609-1670) in a copy of Martin Luther's Commentary on the 15 Psalms (which was also owned and inscribed by his father, Richard Oxinden and Robert Sprakeling, an uncle or grandfather on his mother's side, as well as his great-grandson Dr. Lee Warly). Annotations consist of manicules and neatly written italic notes in the margins throughout the text. There are also longer notes on the blank pages at the end of the text in Oxinden's hand as well as in a later 18th century hand.
Condition: Bound in calf with gilt tooling to covers.

"Henry Oxinden of Barham" inscribed at top of title page and "Henry Oxinden his booke 1667" inscribed on title page verso. "Robt. Spracling, his booke, 1599" inscribed on title page verso. "Lee Warly" inscribed at head of page 1 in red ink.
